Jingyi (Dekyi) Yang (she/her) is from Lhasa. She is a second-year master's student in the Design and Technologies for Learning Across Culture and Contexts (DATL) program at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of students from multicultural contexts, especially those in minority or special groups. Her research interests explore language learning for bilinguals, as well as educational equity in school settings, and motivating learners through educational technologies. Previously, she taught as an intern at a high school in China.
